Rooting is so far the most over rated and googled item according to me.
I know how we all feel when we get our smart phones, it's like a whole new world and we simply want to explore EVERYTHING in it.
The only thing that's a big turn off is the *Disclaimers that comes in complementary with rooting, so am going to follow the routine too :
ROOT YOUR PHONE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
THE DEVICE MAY GET DAMAGED IN THE PROCESS.
ROOTING VOIDS WARRANTY.
Having said that, I'd just like to add, if you follow the instructions correctly, its easy peasy! I've tried it on 2 Galaxy Minis, different origins & different timings. Worked just fine.
Also note that, this is the simplest way and includes an "UNROOT" option.. psst, yes the phones gets back under warranty when you un root :D
Here we go!
STEP 1: Install Samsung USB drivers (also install Kies to be on the safe side, but to be honest, I don't trust Kies) So install my upload from the link mentioned, for x86 Windows 7.
STEP 2: Make sure you do it on a laptop (to be super safe) you can do it on your computer, but keep in mind, the computer should not be powered off during the process (some countries, have electricity issues, so my laptop recommendations is for them)
STEP 3: Download Super One Click
STEP 4: Unzip Super One Click and ensure you've installed the Samsung USB Drivers
STEP 5: Connect your Samsung Galaxy Mini GT 5570 using the USB cable to your computer, wait for the drivers to detect and install
STEP 6: Open Super One Click, to be safe, do "Driver Check" (The 2nd last button in Super One Click)
STEP 7: Click "Root" and wait for the magic to begin :)
STEP 8: After Super One Click gives the message of successful rooting, it asks you to install busy box (its upto you to do a "yes or no" on it, busy box is an app some root apps require at times, if you click no, don't worry, you can always download it from the Android Market, its there and its free)
Super One Click also asks you if you want to test whether your device is rooted or not (It sends an SU command to the phone), do all that, DISCONNECT THE PHONE from the computer and RESTART
STEP 9: Check for "Super User" app in your app drawer, you're rooted.
*You can always UNROOT the phone, by following the same steps and modifying step 7 with, UNROOT the phone button.
